Ty and Darby
We were lucky enough to get to have cute Darby come stay at our house last week. Her and Ty are only 5 months apart and love to be together! Sean has been building a cute playhouse for Ty so we have been spending every night outside working on that, needless to say, these two were huge helpers! It is amazing how dirty these kids can get! I had to wash them off twice in the tub and drain it twice before I could get the water clean enough to do any good! They had so much fun!
Party at Grandma's!
One of my greatest memories of growing up was going to my Grandma and Grandpa Ellis's house to go sliding down their hill. They would always get a huge piece of plastic and put it down the hill, turn on the hose and all the grandkids would slide for hours! We went up there last weekend for a family party they got the slide out for the kids but the adults got in on the action and had a great time!
The two prego's!
It has been so much fun to be pregnant at the same time as Sandi! Granted I have been extremely jealous she is so much further along than me, but never the less it has been great! She is going to have the baby on Monday July 7th. We can't wait to meet the cute little guy! As I was looking at this picture I realized that I am not that much smaller than Sandi, she does not get very big, and I get huge!

Ty's trip to Price
My parents love to take Ty and Emmy home a few times during the summer. The kids absolutely love my parents, and my parents are so cute with their grandkids! They literally will play with them every waking second of the day and cave in to their every want and demand. I constantly have to remind my parents that their is a word called "no" that can be used every once in a while!
Ty was especially excited to go to Price this time because my mom knew a guy that worked for the railroad who also knew how much Ty loved trains, and he told her next time he was in town to bring him to the railroad station and he would take them out in the train. The train driver let him drive the train and blow the horn. I love how he is concentrating so hard in this picture! For days after he came home he was still explaining to us every detail about how to drive a train. For example, who knew that before you go forward you have to honk the horn 2 times, and to go in reverse you have to honk the horn 3 times, a three year old can teach you so much!
I am so thankful for grandparents that love Ty so much and are willing to do anything for him! We love you Mom and Dad, thanks for everything you do for us!
My latest project!
I have been wanting a desk to put in Ty's room for a long time now and I could never find one. So a few weeks ago I decided to go to DI to see what I could find. As far as I was concerned I felt like I had truly found a diamond in the rough with this desk! I thought that it had so much potential!
After a day of sanding and three trips to Home Depot trying to decide on a color, this was the final result! I was not too impressed with it at first. I had such high hopes and a much better vision of it in my head, and the final result did not seem to fit the image. But the second Ty saw it in his room he said, "Mom, I love it! It is perfect!" I figured he was the only one that I needed to impress and I did! So I will consider this a mission accomplished!
